Lenovo/Motorola has officially launched the third generation Moto E phone in India on September 19th, 2016 at an event in New Delhi. The phone went on sale the same day at midnight.
The phone goes by the name MOTO E3 Power. It succeeds the likes of MOTO E, MOTO E (2nd Gen) and MOTO E (2nd Gen) 4G. The phone has a 5" HD Display with a 294ppi density. Comes with a front facing speaker grill like in the older phones in the series. The camera is an 8MP shooter on the rear with a LED Flash. The rear camera is capable of shooting 720p videos and HD pictures. The front camera is a 5MP one for selfies and video chats, The camera app has a beautification mode that enhances pictures to make it more lively and life-like. The camera bump on the rear has design elements from the recently released Moto G4 series. The top of the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and the bottom of the phone houses a micro-USB port for charging. The volume buttons and the power button are on the right side, just like the predecessors.
The phone has a removable back panel that gives access to the SIM slots, micro-SD card slot and the removable battery. The phone comes with a splash-proof nano coating so that your phone repels any liquid or dust that it comes in contact with.

The phone is priced at Rs. 7999/- and is a Flipkart exclusive phone. With great EMI and exchange offers, this makes an attractive purchase. Given a MediaTek processor, the real-life performance is a bit questionable as Motorola has not used an MTK chip in their phones till date.
