Lenovo K6 Power - Unboxing and first impressions

Lenovo recently released the latest phone in the K series - The Lenovo K6 Power. I got my hands on the device through the first sale that happened on December 6, 2016. This is the dark grey 32GB variant.

First impressions:

Th box is a simple rectangular package that is common these days. Upon opening the box, I was greeted by the device itself, wrapped in a thin plastic. The cardboard separator below had the SIM removal tool, the warranty information and documentation booklets. In the box are the micro-USB data cable, power brick and a earphone that I feel hardly anyone will every use!

The phone has a full metal body which feels really premium. The fingerprint sensor is at the back right below the rear camera which is common on most recent devices. Having used 5,5" devices for most of my time in the past 2 years, this phone felt really small, almost like an iPhone. The sim tray is on the left, volume buttons and power button on the right. the bottom of the phone houses just the microphone. Strangely enough, the charging port and headphone jack is on top. The boot times are fast, set-up was easy and straight into the device. For a price of Rs.9999/- this feels a power-packed device and a serious contender in the budget segment.
