Unboxing & Review : Mpow Sportfit Wired Earphone

Hello everyone,

Here is a review of a sports headphones with mic and remote volume control, the Mpow Sportfit Wired Earphone. This is a review unit provided by the manufacturer. The views are fully mine and are unbiased given the fact that I have not bought the device.

Let's begin with the unboxing..

The packaging:

The packet is fairly big with cardboard box and a plastic tray housing the earphones. The additional earbuds come in a separate packet (2 sets of earbuds). There are 2 support bands for the earpieces as this is a sports earphone.

The box contents:

1x Wired earphones
2x Additional earbuds
1x Tee clip

The build:

The earphones are wired type and have angular earpieces that fits nicely in the ear canal. The bands fits nicely around the ears holding the earpieces in place. There is a mic with a button that is easily accessible. The cable is really smooth and almost rounded though it looks kinda flat (but is not!). At the end of the wires that connect the earpieces, we have a VOLUME Slider( definitely a plus). It is a analog slider and has smooth function. And the connector is a 3.5mm standard audio pin.

The performance:

The audio quality is great. Good treble and bass. Tried playing audio from saavn, my own music collection and the results pleased me very much. The bass levels are by far greater than skullcandy JIB that I have! With the clean and comfortable fit, I can go for hours without worry of them falling out. The noise from outside is minimal and gives you a pleasant listening experience.

The things that I DON'T LIKE:

The rubber earbuds don't fit onto the earpiece firmly. The don't fall out though, but they tend to get misaligned and needs adjustment every time I wear them. The bands come detached in the box and assembling them is a bit tricky. The wearing comfort is good for long hours but due to the slippery earbuds, it does cause some pain in the ear sometimes. Overall a good product and I feel if that the price was somewhere around 600 rupees, this would have made a deal one cannot refuse!
