The OnePlus 5 has been officially launched by the company globally on June 20th and through a separate launch event in Indian on June 22nd. Just like the rumours suggested, the phone is a powerhouse!
The OnePlus 5 is the latest flagship device from the Shenzen, China-based company OnePlus. This device succeeds the OnePlus 3T, that was launched back in December 2016. Most of the leaks and rumours turned out to be true, apart from the price. Read on to know more about the device.

The company has released just one version of the phone which will support 6 modes and about 34 different network bands across the world. The phone is said to have 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the display. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack (phew!). The phone is the slimmest OnePlus phone ever made at 7.25mm thickness.
The phone will be made available to customers across the globe starting June 27th on the OnePlus website and through open sale to Indian customers on the OnePlus website and Amazon India website starting on June 27th.
The phone will be available in two colours - midnight black and slate gray and is priced starting $479 in the USA and €499 in Europe. In India, the phone is priced starting from Rs. 32999/- for the 6GB/64GB variant and Rs.37999/- for the 8GB/128GB model.
