Xiaomi has announced their first ever Android One smartphone - the Mi A1 at a launch event in New Delhi, India. Xiaomi has partnered with Google to bring pure Android experience to Mi users across the globe.
Mi A1 is the brand new phone from the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi and is a result of their partnership for the latter's Android One programme. Mi phones used to come pre-loaded with MiUI, the Xiaomi's skin over the Android OS. The A1 comes with stock Android Nougat v7.1.2 and the company guarantees the Android Oreo update by end of 2017 and Android P upgrade whenever it releases.

Mi A1 will be made available in Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores from September 12, 2017. The phone is priced at Rs. 14999/- for the base model.
In addition to the online sales and in Mi home stores, it will also be made available through a wide range of offline retailers across India.
In addition to India, the Mi A1 will be available in many countries where Google has initially launched the Android One programme.
